Message from the Principal

Welcome to Lake View school! This is a special place for learning and growing. We are proud to be a four time recipient of the Title I Academic Achievement Award. Lake View was selected as one of 50 schools across the United States to enter into a partnership with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. We are currently a NASA Explorer School and provide
enhanced opportunities in Science, Mathematics and Technology. Lake View
promotes character development for all students and we celebrate diversity.

We welcome parent volunteers! Visit our Parent Teacher Organization website. It can be accessed through the link on this site. Our parent volunteers are important partners in educating the students. We have a designated parent volunteer room and encourage you to visit. Teachers sincerely appreciate all that our parents do to support the academic programs at Lake View. Join us!

We have many opportunities for our students at Lake View. Our outstanding academic programs in reading, math and science are proven every year by our growth on the state tests. Lake View was recognized by the state of California as an Academic Achievement Award School. This prestigious award
acknowledges our school's superior achievement as compared to other similar
schools in the state.

Lake View provides instruction in the arts as well. Students are exposed to the great artists through the Art Masters Program. They receive instruction and the opportunity to apply the techniques of the great art masters to an art project of their own.

We believe in recognizing students for their achievements. Our building has a wing specifically to honor students. Lake View has titled this wing "Recognition Hall". Students have their pictures displayed for academics, citizenship, attendance and effort.

As the principal, I am anxious to get to know all of the families in the community so please stop by the office to say “Hi” when you are on
the school campus.

Student Drop-Off Please drop students off for school at the front of the school on Zeider Lane. We provide a safe drop-off and pick-up system for our students. Thank you for your cooperation.
