Announcements

Welcome! We have just finished the narrative essay which is due 10/26/2007. 
Also your child will be starting a new essay which will be a response to 
literature on a novel read in class. Periods three and four will be doing 
their essay on "The Outsiders" and period six will be doing their essay 
on "The Watsons Go to Birmingham-1963. Students are responsible for bringing 
this novel to class each day until we finish the essay. We will be starting a 
unit on characters and students will be given a test on this unit before the 
end of the grading period. All students have been star tested. This is a 
program Lee Middle School uses to assess students reading range. Students 
then select books at their reading level to read independently at home and 
then they take a computer generated test on the book in class or at the 
library.
