Classroom Discipline1. Show respect for themselves and others. A. Examples: i. Using the words please, thank you, and excuse me. ii. Keeping hands, feet, and objects to yourself. iii. Listening and responding politely and appropriately. iv. Using appropriate language and speaking in a conversational indoor indoor voice. v. Using put-ups not, not put downs. 2. Are self-directed. A. Examples: i. Having school materials (pen/pencil, paper, book) and being ready to learn when the bell rings. ii. Being on time to class. iii. Asking for help if there's a conflict with another student. iv. Completeing all work assigned. v. Enter and exit class in safe manner.
3. Demonstrating self-control. A. Examples: i. Listening to other students or staff without interrupting. ii. Raise your hand and not blurting out answers or comments. iii. Not back talking. iv. Not using violence to solve your problems. v. Following directions the first time they are given.
4. Are involved. A. Examples: i. Complete all work assinged. ii. Raising your hand and asking for help. iii. Participating in discussions. iv. Listening carefully to instructions and explanations. v. Do your very best. |
