PHOTOSTORY PROJECT

Create a digital advertisement story using PhotoStory about an environmental, social, or teen-related issue, club, or organization. Some examples might be “Cache Creek Conservatory” (restoring streams), “Woodland Toy Library” (lend toys to kids), “SPCA – Adopt a Pet” (find homes for abandoned pets) or “What to do about Bullies” – Should be about something that matters to you and something that is local in our community.

Why are we doing this? This is another way to express your learning experiences to an audience of peers, parents, and teachers. This uses technology to communicate real-life problems.

Steps:

1) Brainstorm your topic by checking out the Community Service Guide and the following websites:

http://www.ipl.org/div/teen/

http://www.factmonster.com/life.html

http://www.dailydemocrat.com/

2) Complete the PhotoStory Project Plan and get it approved.

3) Now create your PhotoStory advertisement following requirements below:

PhotoStory Requirements:

* 12-16 digital images

* 6-8 of these slides with a message

* first slide with title and student info

*last slide with credits (cite your resources)

* Insert music and narration(optional)

Combine your images, photos, and graphics with a message in Photostory project to promote your message and/or educate others.
