GRADING PERIOD 6 begins April 6 and runs through the end of the school year.
Nightly Homework-- Periods 2,4,5: Read 20- 30 minutes per night and enter
your reading on your reading log. Your goal is to earn at least TEN
A.R.points during the grading period.
Week of April 6-10: Students will be completing in- class assignments in the
Literature book (Chapter 6)and will be doing CST preparation/ review. Friday
is Career Day.
Week of April 20-24: CST testing this week!! In class Literature work--
partner presentations of the poem "The Cremation of Sam McGee."
Week of April 27- May 1: Finish CSTs. Lit assignments: Page 433, #1-10;
handout p.434-441; handout p. 442-445.(homework if not finished in class.)
Week of May 4- May 8: "Oh Captain!"-- write an elegy or summarize bio info on
Whitman; Lit questions on p. 454 & 457; chapter review-- p.458-462.
