I have been teaching since January of 2000. I began my career as a middle
school math and science teacher. However, in small towns calculus teachers
are hard to find so I was persuaded to switch to high school and teach
calculus and their algebra series. In the summer of 2001, family concerns
brought me back to the Vacaville area and I began teaching math at Woodland
High School. For the past seven years I have thoroughly enjoyed working
with high school students to develop their math abilities and life skills.
With the exception of statistics, I have taught every math class offered at
the secondary level in WJUSD. I am constantly looking for new opportunities
and ways to challenge both myself and my students and I am thrilled to have
the chance to work at Lee Middle School. Go Wildcats!
