I am so privileged to be part of the Literacy First Team! I love kids. I have
six of my own from 28 down to 13 years old and I consider being their mother
one of my greatest accomplishments. My educational background includes earning
a Bachelors of Science degree, a license as a Registered Nurse, and
California's School Nurse Services Credential. I have worked in many different
settings as a health care provider including hospitals, offices and teaching
positions. I love getting children excited about taking charge when it comes
to their own health. When kids are enthusiastic, I know the information will
stick with them for life. If you have questions or concerns about your child's
health, please feel free to contact me. Because I am the School Nurse for all
four of the Literacy First Charter sites, I am not always at your student's
location, but you can always reach me by phone or email.
