We have 3 rules in P.E. -Play Safe -Play Hard -Play Fair Students are required to follow these 3 rules everyday when they come to P.E. Students not following one or all of these rules will have consequences. 1. Verbal Warning 2. Yellow Card- Student sits out for 5 minutes, fills out a yellow card, and may join the class after his/her 5 minutes are over 3. Red Card- Student sits out from P.E. for the rest of the day, fills out a red card including a sentence about how they can do better next time, and parents will be contacted. Every month I will select a P.E. All-Star. This is a student who consistently follows all 3 P.E. rules, is an active participant, and shows good sportsmanship. P.E. All-Stars get to lead stretches at the beginning of every P.E. class, and get to be the line leader for P.E. activities. Each class has a goal everyday at P.E. to earn 5 class points on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best!). If the class has full participation, follows the P.E. rules, shows good sportsmanship, and listens to directions, thy will earn 5 class points. At the end of each quarter I will add up each classes P.E. points, and the class with the most points gets to have the P.E. Cookie Jar in their class!
