There are many opportunities for volunteering such as:
Breakfast Club- This group of volunteers meet each morning to do various
tasks for the teachers. (Younger siblings are welcome.)
Special Events– This group of volunteers works as needed in the
preparation of events. Volunteers assist with any part of recruitment, set-
up, clean-up, manpower, and leadership.
Rolling Readers - This group of volunteers commits to reading with one of our
students one hour a week regularly. Specific training is needed to
participate in this program. This is a regular weekly/hourly commitment.
Donor– This group of volunteers will work to develop a community network of
interested members that will commit to providing substantial gifts/donations
to the LFCS 501(c) 3 organization to enhance the program options for
students at LFCS.
Popcorn Kart– This group of volunteers will regularly have the popcorn
machine on the playground during recess for student treats. They will make
sure that all the ingredients needed are purchased and available as well as
maintain the condition of the machine.
Garden– This group of volunteers works with the Garden at any of the
campuses. This is a great opportunity to work with students in a calm, hands-
on manner while training children in the craft and art of gardening, as well
as developing the character trait of responsibility and caring.
Security– This group of volunteers will serve as greeter to all that come
on campus to ensure that all visitors follow appropriate protocol for being
on campus and ensure that our students are safe and secure
