The Mayor of our town has asked our class to create an exhibit for a new
museum. The exhibit will be called Ecosystem Museum. This museum will have
5 floors and each floor will need to be a different Biome. The Biomes are
desert, tundra, grasslands, rainforests, and marine.
You and your team will have different roles and will need to teach each other
about your roles in order to successfully create a museum that will entertain
and teach other people about an Ecosystem. The roles will be herbivores,
carnivores, omnivores, decomposers, producers, and consumers.

Boy are you in trouble!!! There you are, swimming along, minding your own
business, and the next thing you know you are face to face with a shark! He
looks quite happy to see you...because he's hungry! If you don't want to be
the main course at dinner, you better figure out a way to convince "Sharky"
that you're not on the menu!

On this quest we will travel and explore different biomes to learn what it
would be like to live there. We will learn about the land, climate,
vegetation, and the different types of animals that are found there.

As a class we are going to explore the world of living things and how they
are classified. We will pretend we are scientists and our expedition is to
discover what classification each living thing belongs in. We will read
about the different types of classifications, learn interesting facts about
each category, and enjoy various activities while we search for the answers
to our questions.

Have you ever wondered what a Marine Biologist does? In this simulation you
will be part of a group of marine biologists who are experts on Intertidal
Zones. Your expertise is needed by the city of San Diego to assist the
thousands of tourists who visit the city and its tidepool areas each year.
