I graduated from San Jose State University where I also earned
my California Elementary Teaching Credential. I have taught grades 4-6 in
the Cupertino Union School District and grades 1-3 in Christian schools.
This is my 10th year teaching third grade at LACS.
My husband and I live in Sunnyvale where we raised our three
children. I am also blessed to have two wonderful sons-in-law and three
granddaughters.
In my free time, I like to enjoy my granddaughters, garden, read books,
cook,and spend time with my family and friends. My favorite vacation spot is
in the Colorado Rockies or in Yosemite National Park.
I feel that God has brought each student to this school and my classroom for
a specific reason. My goal is to work in partnership with parents, tutors,
and students to enable each student to be academically successful while
maintaining a positive self image.
Our class verse is Psalm 139:14
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are
wonderful, I know that full well."
The over all mission statement for the school is "to train children in heart,
mind, soul, and body to become balanced Christ-like students who earnestly
seek to know, love, and serve God."
