Mrs. Garton graduated from San Jose State University where she also earned
her California Elementary Teaching Credential. She has taught grades 4-6 in
the Cupertino Union School District and grades 1-3 in Christian schools.
This is her 9th year teaching third grade at LACS.
She and her husband live in Sunnyvale where they raised their three
children. She is also blessed to have two wonderful sons-in-law and one
granddaughter born in 2006. In her free
time, Mrs. Garton likes to enjoy her granddaughter, garden, reading books,
cooking,and spending time with her family and friends.
I feel that God has brought each student to this school and my classroom for
a specific reason. My goal is to work in partnership with parents, tutors,
and students to enable each student to be academically successful while
maintaining a positive self image.
Our class verse is Psalm 139:14
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are
wonderful, I know that full well."
