About The Teacher
We are busy in the library this year. Thanks to my army of volunteers who helped input into our circulation system and shelve over 6,000 books in the fall! It is my goal to keep our library as current as possible with quality,library bound books. Your continued support of our book fairs make this possible. With state budget cuts, it is the ONLY source of funding for our library. Using money and credits earned from our book fair, I recently purchased many sets of non-fiction books to help fill gaps in our collection. Come check out our new books about the solar system, animals and geography! We also purchased a few much needed bean bag chairs. I am currently working on an order of fiction books requested by our students. My Friday Focus group of Jr. Librarians have done a fantastic job helping out and learning all the different tasks associated with running a library. They also wrote some book reviews for our website. Check them out under the Book Reviews link! I am enjoying reading with your students each week and helping them find what interests them.
