Dear Parents,A few notes to let you know what we have planned for the future. There was a delay in sending Stanley off on his big adventure. With the addition of a new student I felt it was unfair to leave my one student out of participating in the Flat Stanley Project and I really wanted our new friend to get used to our routines before going out on our first CBI to mail Ms. Flat Stanley off. It looks as if we will be sending Stanley off in a couple of weeks just prior to the Winter Break. I will let you know the exact date, so you can contact the host family to let keep an eye out for Stanley's arrival. Please let me know how homework is going at home.It's too hard?Too easy?Too much?I'd like less...please!We need more time to complete the packet or a smaller packet.Let me know and we can adjust to what best fits how the Kiddo's are working at home. The most important thing to me is that they don't work till they are frustrated, because that would be conterproductive to their learning. Please know that they are working from the minute they get here in the morning...until they leave to go home in the afternoon and some of the Kiddo's may just want to be Kid's and spend time with their Mom's, Dad's, sisters, brothers or maybe even their cousins. :) Any idea's, thoughts, and or concers can be emailed to me at ngorey@iusd.org Thank you,Ms. Gorey
