September 2012
Dear Parents,
Summer has quickly come to an end and its school time again! I’m excited to
start the 2012-2013 school year and look forward to meeting my students and
their families. My name is Samantha Webster and I am honored to be your
child’s fifth grade teacher. This is my sixth year teaching at Meadow Park. My
first two years I taught fifth grade, then I taught three years in 6th grade,
and this year I have the wonderful opportunity to teach 5th grade again. I
love teaching 5th grade and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
I live in Rancho Santa Margarita with my wonderful husband Ryan and my two
children Colbie (3 years) and Owen (16 months). I enjoyed a fun filled summer
taking my kids to the park, the beach club, the pool, circle time classes, and
spending family time together at home. My family is looking forward to a
wonderful year filled with many exciting moments and precious memories.
I am very happy to have your child in my classroom. I believe that by all of
us working together we can make this a very successful year. I am looking
forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full
potential. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn
and grow in the days ahead.
I believe that communication is the key to a great parent student teacher
relationship. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or
concerns at any time. You can send me an email me at samanthawebster@iusd.org
or call me at 949-936-5937. The fifth grade team will be updating the Meadow
Park 5th grade website on what we have been doing in class and any upcoming
events. I will also have a class website for additional information that is
more specific to our class and I send out email announcements as needed. For
individual concerns, I will contact you by email or phone.
Please feel free to participate in your child’s fifth grade year as much as
you are able. Helping hands are always needed. I consider it a great privilege
and responsibility to be your child's teacher this year, and look forward to
meeting each of you.
Sincerely,
Samantha Webster
