Mrs. Africano has been teaching in Saddleback Valley Unified School
District since 1978. After teaching grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, she
decided to try her hand at elementary school. Now, starting her thirteenth
year teaching 5th grade, it is obvious that elementary school is indeed
where she currently belongs. When not teaching (when is that?) Mrs. Africano
enjoys time with her growing family, including seven grandchildren who call
her OMA.
She also loves reading, music,glass fusing, sewing, music, foreign languages,
block
printing, politics, plays,gardening, greening, swimming, ceramics and
painting, and traveling.
Mrs. Africano really likes math, nutrition, research, swimming, jogging,
writing, social studies, art,music,and reading, reading, reading. Actually,
Mrs. Africano likes just about everything!
