Band and Chorus 2009-2010
All classes are now held in the Multi-Purpose Room Stage for the next month or so (maybe until Jan?), due to construction on the portables. The room is a little small, but with teamwork and patience, we will make it work.
The Band and Chorus Handbooks are available on this web site to conserve paper. Please print out the required signature pages and return as soon as possible.
The Homework page has updated Trimester 2 Practice Log dates and due dates (for Bands). The Practice Log folder has a download of the Practice Log. Print them at home to help the school save money on paper. Thanks for chipping in!
Everyone must get the Standard Of Excellence book as soon as possible (red #1 for Beginning Band, blue #2 for Advanced Band). This is the book we study from every day. It is available at any local music store. A list of some stores is in the Band Handbook. Call ahead of time to make sure they have your instrument's book in stock
Honor Band info is coming soon for Advanced Band members and those interested in the District Jazz Band.
Trimester 2 concert is March 10 @ 6:30 PM and an assembly on March 11.
Beginning Band information
Beginning Band is offered as an after school class from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM on odd schedule days excluding Fridays. All students must attend on a regular basis and follow all school rules even though it is after school. Students must return the Re-Commitment form as soon as possible.
