Principal Leona Olson	Message from the Principal It is hard to believe that another school year has passed. What a terrific year we have had! In the celebrations during the last week of school, we reflected on individual and school successes. The year started off strong with test scores at an all time high. In fact, in recent similar school rankings, Mesa View was ranked in the 10th decile (the top category), and 9th within the state. Our academic and athletic teams brought much pride to the school with their participation and multiple awards. Our clubs not only promoted school spirit, but also gave back to the community through food drives, dental drives and service. Congratulations to all of students and families! We wish our 8th grade students the very best as they go their separate ways to high school. For those returning and who will be joining us, we are looking forward to another great year. Have a safe, healthy and enjoyable summer!

Eagle Essentials To assist with your summer school shopping, the following are considered "Eagle Essentials." • A hard cover, loose-leaf, 3-ring binder. Rings must be at least 2 inches (Peechie folders are not appropriate) • Dividers with at least 8 tabs • At least two pencils, two blue, black, and red ink pens • An eraser • Highlighters (multiple colors: yellow, orange, pink, green) • Colored pencils • Ruler (w/metric and standard measurements) • Notebook paper • A sturdy book bag or backpack. Please Note: white out, permanent makers (including Sharpies), and laser pens are not to be brought to school.
