| The Mesa View PTSO is a critical part of our school community. Over the
past few years, their efforts have contributed to the school on many
levels.
The computer lab has been updated with 36 new computers, which is used by
the total student body, over the past 3 years. With the PTSO's help, Mesa
View now has SmartBoard in each classroom, enhancing instruction. This past
year, they purchased a wireless laptop lab to extend the use of technology
in the classroom.
In addition, the PTSO has contributed to field trips and sponsored the 8th
grade promotional dance to make these activities more affordable to our
students.
Many parents volunteer at the school in a variety of ways: assisting with
classroom environment, fluency testing, and chaperoning events to mention a
few.
The PTSO continues to look for ways to support our students' achievement and
middle school experience.
