The Miller afterschool sports program is open to all grade levels and offers a wide variety of team and individual sports. Try-out dates for each sport are posted in the daily announcements link on Miller's home page. All interested students must try-out for softball, volleyball, basketball and soccer. Students who wish to participate in cross country, wrestling, and/or track & field automatically make the team as long as they are able to attend the practices. There are no try-outs or cuts for those three sports. Practices for afterschool sports are generally on Mondays and Wednesdays and games generally take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Try-outs, practices, and games always start right after school and normally finish between four thirty and five. Students are required to pay a $70 afterschool sports fee (with checks made payable to: Los Gatos Parks and Rec) once they make a team.
*Sixth grade students who wish to join an after school sports team may try-out for the seventh grade team or the C team. The C team consists of student athletes from all grade levels whose height is 5'3 and under.
