Fall Registration; Attendance Policy small medium large First Day of School is Thursday, August 20, 2009. The District Attendance Policy states that students must be in attendance on the last day of school to guarantee their place in the district for the following school year. Any student who was not present on June 12, 2009 has been dropped from the roster. If you are planning to return to Miller for 2009-2010, you must re-register in order to attend. The District is accepting registrations for all CUSD schools at Collins Elementary School from July 20 to August 5, 2009 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. (10300 N. Blaney Ave., Cupertino) Miller will be open to accept registrations starting August 12, 2009 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The District Attendance Policy also states that students must be in attendance on August 20, 2009 to guarantee their place in the district. Any student who is not present on the first day of school will be dropped. If a student is absent due to illness, parents must provide a note from a local doctor (original, not fax copy).
