This is my seventh year at Miller and I am so thrilled to be back! Previously
I have taught at Rolling Hills Middle School in the Campbell USD and South
Valley Jr. High in the Gilroy USD. I am very pleased to be at Miller, since I
am a product of all of our neighborhood schools (Dilworth, Miller and
Lynbrook). My mom still lives right behind our school!
I am very involved in the local and state mathematical communities. I am the
Treasurer for the Santa Clara Valley Math Association (SCVMA), President-elect
for California Math Council - Northern Section (CMC-N) and the
State Treasurer for CMC, so I attend state board meetings, local affiliate
meetings and conferences regularly.
I am married to Ron Orcutt and have one son, Bryce, who is 12 1/2 and going
into seventh grade this year at Miller. If you see him on campus, say "Hi"!
I also have one dog named Lacey (age 8),whom I adore!
I have always taught 7th and 8th grade math, I have a strong passion for the
subject and the students. I am very excited about our year and look forward
to meeting all of you!
