Keyboarding

While practicing your keyboarding skills remember to sit up tall with your 
knees under the keyboard and your arms straight out from your body.  Use all 
ten fingers, yes, including the ring finger and the little finger on your 
left hand!  Work on accuracy first, speed will come later.

KEYBOARDING GOALS BY GRADE LEVEL
These goals require using all ten fingers and getting 80% accuracy or better.
Third Grade................15 words per minute
Fourth Grade...............20 words per minute
Fifth Grade...................25 words per minute
Sixth Grade..................30 words per minute
Seventh Grade............35 words per minute
Eighth Grade...............40 words per minute
