*I grew up in New York, then lived in Florida through teen and early adult
years, followed by twelve years in the Boston area. I enjoy reading, hiking, playing the flute, practicing
yoga, dancing, philosophizing with family and friends, traveling around the world (Egypt, Morocco,
Turkey, British Isles and Europe)
*After one snow storm too many, I packed all the belongings I could fit
plus
one small cat into my barely functioning vehicle, then zoomed across the
country in six days flat to start a new life in California...
*I have worked as a journalist, research director, public relations writer, counselor of
troubled teens, arts therapy group leader, certified massage therapist, photographer and
videographer... I wear a ring on my finger with a Latin phrase which translates to "I am still learning."
*to support the academic and creative needs of our students and staff
