Sophomores will be taking the California High School Exit Exam next Feb. 5 and 6. In addition to
subject and credit requirements, this exam must be passed in order to graduate. This test
covers reading (vocabulary, informational reading, and literary reading), writing (strategies,
applications and conventions), and mathematics (statistics, data analysis, probability, number
sense, measurement, geometry, algebra and functions, mathematical reasoning, algebra 1.)
Results are available about 7 weeks after the test is given.
