What do the green slips mean and what do I do with them once I have them?

The greens slips are given at the end of the school day to show parents that
their little tadpole behaved in the pond. The object of this task is to
collect 10 green slips and return them once that number is obtained. Upon
that time your tadpole will bring the green slips back to school and receive
a prize. The prizes increase with each set of 10 brought back to school.

What are the pink slips and what do I do with them once they come home?

The pink slip indicates that your tadpole had a rough day in the pond.
Please speak to your child regarding their behavior and send the pink slip
back to school with a signiture and the date.

What do I do if I can't take Tsavy on the day that I signed up?

Please let me know as soon as possible that you cannot take Tsavy home on
your designated day. You can either email me or call the office. Ms. Kathy
will let me know and hopefully I can find someone else who can take him. It
is not a problem if something comes up. There is usually always someone who
can take him. Also, I don't mind taking him home.

What do I do if I can't come in during my volunteer center time?

Please either let me know, via email or phone, that you can't make it. Or
send a note or tell your child to let me know. Otherwise, I wait for you to
show and I have to plan my activities accordingly.

You can help in the classroom any time; you can help out in the office; you
can help in the garden at school picking weeds or planting. There are so
many ways for you to gain hours. You can also offer to drive to field trips
or other activities.

Homework

Homework is given on Mondays in your tadpoles "Take Home Folder." And it is
to come back to school, completed on Fridays. Please remember to have
the "Folder" sent back to
school the day after it is sent home. If for some reason, your tadpole
couldn't complete their homework in time please just let me know. More time
will be given.
