Here's an outline of what we'll being doing for the week of 5/12-5/16
We will be spending the first half of the week getting various projects ready for Wednesday's open
house. I'm not going to give away what we've been working on, but I'm sure that you'll be impressed
with what you see.
Social Studies: We will start work on creating our boomtown. Last week we found out what kinds of
buildings are in a boomtown and this week we will build it and name it.
Math: 3rd and 4th grade will continue working on data collection and graphing. 3rd grade's focus will
be on displaying probability and prediction making. 4th grade will be working on coordinate grids and
using graphs to problem solve.
Language Arts: Both groups will be writing reflection papers about our field trip to Riley's Farm. They
will be writing about what we saw, who we saw, their favorite and least favorite parts were.
