This week's Mensch is going to be a little different.  Actually, I
would use the word "special".  I want to acknowledge the entire
third/fourth grade class for their actions last week.  As everybody
now knows, we all received some very tough news.  My students couldn't
have been more mature and caring about the entire situation.  They
reacted to the news with kindness and sympathy towards not only each
other, but towards myself as well.  I can't express just how proud I
am of each of my students and how well they handled this situation.  I
guess that I really shouldn't be surprised at how amazing they have
been about everything, I've kind of come to expect this wonderful
behavior from this great group of young people.
