My name is Tony Cross and this is my first year teaching at Morasha. I taught preschool last year in The
Green Mountain State (a.k.a. Vermont) and loved every minute of it. I've been working with children in
some capacity since I was 18 and I've found it more rewarding than I could've ever imagined.
I'm a huge sports fan! I love to snowboard and ride my bike wherever it takes me. During recess, I can
be found playing handball, kickball, football, nine-square, or just talking with my students. I'm so
lucky to be blessed with the class that I have!
I've known that I wanted to be a teacher since the fourth grade. My teacher was boring and yelled a lot,
which made my school day pretty miserable. I vowed that if I were ever to become a teacher myself, I
would be the complete opposite of her. I try to inject as much humor as I can into my classroom. It's
my goal to make my students as comfortable as possible so that they can work without fear of failure.
They need to know that their thoughts and ideas are taken into account on a daily basis.
