My name is Tony Cross and this is my second year teaching at Morasha. I'm so very excited to see my
returning students, and I look forward to meeting my incoming third graders.
This year I've decided to go with a baseball theme for my room. I've always loved baseball and I feel
that it's a wonderful metaphor for life. I want my classroom to have a real "team" feel to it.
I very excited for this new year and everything that I've got planned.
I've known that I wanted to be a teacher since the fourth grade. My teacher was boring and yelled a lot,
which made my school day pretty miserable. I vowed that if I were ever to become a teacher myself, I
would be the complete opposite of her. I try to inject as much humor as I can into my classroom. It's
my goal to make my students as comfortable as possible so that they can work without fear of failure.
They need to know that their thoughts and ideas are taken into account on a daily basis.
