I am originally from Long Beach California, and graduated from California
State University, Long Beach. I have been teaching First Grade for about 30
years. My philosophy of teaching is child centered, cooperative, and
developmentally appropriate. My goal for the year is to provide your child
with a positive learning environment where they will feel successful and
appropriately challenged.
You and I are a team and our main responsibility is to help "our first
grader" to be the best they can be. It is important to remember that we are
always their role models, even when we least expect it.
