May Reminders
Reminders:   <img border="0" align="absmiddle" src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emsmile.gif" alt="" /> Come and volunteer or play bingo on Monday, May 28th!   <img border="0" align="absmiddle" src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emsmile.gif" alt="" />  Please register for the next school year, so that we might look ahead and start ordering our books!  Thank you!     <img border="0" align="absmiddle" src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emsmile.gif" alt="" />  Parents, we have started talking about Family Life in fourth grade.  It is an integral part of Catholic education. The fourth grade curriculum primarily focuses on puberty and how bodies begin to change.  This week we are watching a cartoon version of a video that names the different female and male body parts.  The fourth graders have lots of great questions, but I ask that these conversations continue at home.  We want to make sure our children feel comfortable to ask questions in a safe environment!  Thank you for your support!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  <img border="0" align="absmiddle" src="/Controls/DHtmlEditor/Images/emsmile.gif" alt="" />  For the rest of the year, the 4th grade will also be involved in a service project serving the homeless.  Our job will be to provide food to make sandwiches and lunches.  The Jesuit community will deliver them to homeless on Wednesdays.  In order to help fund the project, we are asking grades 4, 5, and 6 to bring in one dollar each week for the rest of the year.  Other donations could include bread, non-perishable foods such as chips, drinks, napkins, brown bags, sandwich bags, etc.  Please let me know if you have questions!

 <li style="font-size: 18pt; ">Please remember to check our SIS grading system online for current student grades as well as notes about your child's conduct and effort.  (All reminders/"pink-slips" also get recorded here!)  Thank you as always for making this a team effort! </li></ul><ul><li style="font-size: 18pt; ">4th grade corrected papers go home on Friday.  Please look out for any work that may need to be finished or redone by the student, which must be turned back in as soon as possible!  Most work will have a percent grade (please refer to the grading scaled on the left), other work will be checked off indicating that it has been turned in and was completed. </li></ul><ul><li>On the first day of the week, the 4th Grade "Choices Bulletin" goes home.  This is a letter indicating how many "reminders" your child needed from the previous week if any at all.  Please sign and return by the next day.  They will be returned to you again by the end of the week with a check mark that I have received it.  Thank you!</li></ul>
