Homework is as follows:
Periods: 1 and 5:
Spelling Unit 18, due on Thursday, test to follow.
Latin Unit 9 due next Thursday, test to follow. Latin Units are given on a 2
week rotation, students should practice several times per week.
Periods: 4 and 6
Students will be reading "The Adveneture of the Speckled Band"
Selection Support pages, due on Thursday. The Concept Map will be due
on Friday. Essay test on Friday. Students are working on short essays for
the next two weeks.
Students will be reading holiday classics for the next two weeks in class,
they will not have homework related to these reads.
Students must have Classic reading logs with summaries this Friday. Ninth
check this Friday, chapter summaries are due on the back of the log.
Journals are required: students will write a min. of 150-200 words every
school night. Students can write ahead or combine writing. These are checked
every 2 weeks, 4 writes are due this Friday,
Grammar book reviews are taught during the week. This week we are working on
prepositional phrases and adverb clauses.
