Second Quarter Extra Credit
Pedigree of one family Trait
This pedigree chart of a family trait will be worth up to 5 points of
extra credit which is the equivalent of about a 2 point boost in your letter
grade. To obtain the entire 5 points the extra credit pedigree must be:
*A minimum of 10 family members.
*Neat and legible copy.
*Include one and only one trait. A trait you clearly have or don’t have, such
as tongue rolling, widow’s peak, sixth finger, freckles, att. ears, etc.
*A good key that is easy to understand for any reader.
*Correct setup, such as lines directly connecting to blood relatives from
above and to offspring below. Straight lines please.
*No Polygenic traits are to be used, such as hair, skin, eye color or height
and weight.
*A greA+ assignment to do during the holidays as families get together.
