Dec. 7-11, 2009
Students are moving rather fast through this unit on the ancient Israelites.
We will be discussing chapter 3 section 2 this week. Students will be
working on a notetaking packet with this section.
Due Monday is study guide 3-1.
Major assignment will be explained, directions sheet given out and examples
shown on Tuesday. This will be a research paper. Will be due on Thursday
the 17th.
In Literature, students are continuing to enjoy the core novel, "The Lion
Witch and the Wardrobe". Students are working on chapter 13-17 this week.
They will also be working on their SS packet for ch. 13-15. Explanation of
Tea Party on Tuesday. We will need parent help, so be on the look out for a
note from me on how you can help us.
Homework for the week:
1. SS packet for chapter 10-12 was due on Monday.
2. Banner/standard activity due Tuesday.
3. ABC project due on the 17th.
4. Check historical book for the next book report. Book report project
information will be going out next week, so students can work on their
assignment over the holidays. The project is due on Jan. 12.
Remember these assignments are not written in stone, they are subject to
change according to how much we get accomplished each day.
