Nov. 9-13, 2009
Students are working on standard 6.5, Ancient India. This is chapter 4 in
the history book.
Students will be finishing section 2 and start on section 3 Tuesday.
1. Homework:
*Due Monday is study guide #4-2 note taking packet
*Monday's homework is #4-2 quiz.
*Students will be working on study guide #4-3 this week.
2. Major assignment for this unit will be explained and examples shared on
Tuesday. This will be a Compare/Contrast Essay; direction sheet will be
handed out to students. The Venn diagram will be due on Friday.
In Literature, students are continuing to enjoy the core novel, "The Lion
Witch and the
Wardrobe". Book report due next week.
Tuesday night homework is finish reading chapter 5 and write 2 questions with
the answer.
1. Students will be working on chapter 8-9 this week.
2. Reading log homework every week.
3. Work on book report.
Remember these assignments are not written in stone, they are subject to
change according to how much we get accomplished each day.
