About AR: Our 1st grade goal for the 4th quarter is 7.5. I have AR reading
coupons. Each time a student has read 5 books and passed their test he/she
will choose something from our treasure chest. He/she will be recognized at
the next assembly and will get a Choice Award. Your child will be able to
check out books from our classroom library. They make check out a book for 1
week unless I get a note from a parent letting me know you need more time.
Your child does not need to read the book you may read it to them. I will
help them read the questions at school. Go For Good Behavior Reports go home
on Fridays and need to be returned the following Monday signed by a parent.
Every month I will be sending home Scholastic book orders to be filled out
online. The class activation code is: GTMY2.
No School on Monday! There is no spelling test, grammar packet,or reading
homework due to the short week. Tuesday is $2 jean day. Wednesday is Choice
Award Free Dress - our whole class recieved a Choice Award this month!! Way
to go 1st Graders soon to be 2nd Graders!!Friday is Fabulous Friday - Hot Dog
Day! Last book order of the year June Scholastic is due on Saturday online. I
will not be needing Parent helpers for June. We will be practicing at
different times for our play. Hope you all have a wonderful and restful day
off!
