TECHNOLOGY:
1. I am very excited to be infusing technology into many aspects of the curriculum during the 2012-13
school year. Based upon my own personal classroom usage of a MacBook Pro and iPad (3rd gen.), I
would like to recommend - but by no means require - that each student has an iPad2 or iPad (3rd gen.)
for daily classroom-to-home use. In early August, I will email out a recommended list of apps for
download that we will be using in class. If you choose not to send your child to school with an iPad,
she/he will never be made to feel left out and will a) be paired up with others who have an iPad, or
will b) use one of the iPad2 units from our school cart (when available). There will be classroom storage
cubbies specifically for iPads when they are not in use.
