Dear Kindergarten Parents,
Welcome to a very busy final week of Kindergarten! This is a week filled with
excitement and a mixture of emotions for your Kindergartners, but they are
all ready for first grade!
The Kindergartners did a wonderful job at the 8th Grade Tribute on Friday,
and their Buddies were very sad to say “farewell” to them. Thank you for
supporting this special friendship shared between the 8th Graders and
Kindergarten.
This last week of school is so special, filled with a few last memorable
traditions, and the children will make memories for a lifetime. The core
academic work is completed at this time, and the focus during class will be
on review and year-end projects. We will also be rehearsing for Friday’s
Graduation ceremony.
Monday is the Kindergarten Assembly, during which we will present on Author’s
Day! PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILDREN ARRIVE AT 7:45 to unpack so that we can help
them put on their Author's Day t-shirts and walk over to the HFAC at 7:50 to
start on time. Parents are invited by to Kindergarten immediately following
the Assembly for our Author’s Day tribute. We look forward to this!
Wednesday , Thursday, and Friday are all early dismissal days. Thursday is
Field Day, which is put on by the PTG. It is a fun play day for the entire
school! The Kindergartners play at different stations through the school all
day, and they rotate together as a class. Parents are welcome to join for
this fun day, and to cheer their children on!
Kindergarten Graduation takes place on the last day of school, Friday June 14
at 8:15am in the church. It precedes the Mass and moving up ceremony; attire
for the students is Full Dress uniform. Below are a few highlights for the
week:

Friday, June 7: FULL DRESS UNIFORM, 8th Grade Tribute at 10:45am, 8th Grade
Graduation (evening)
Monday, June 10: Assembly by K, Author’s Day
Tuesday, June 11: $2 Tuesday
Wednesday, June 12: Choice Award Free Dress, 11:50am Kindergarten dismissal
Thursday, June 13: Field Day, 12noon dismissal
Friday, June 14: Last Day of School!

Kindergarten Playground
· 9:30am, all-school Mass
· Moving Up Ceremony immediately following Mass
· Early Dismissal immediately following Moving Up Ceremony
