Dear Kindergarten Parents,
Thank you for another great week, and welcome to what is sure to be another one! The Kindergartners
ended this past week on a high, with a fun Science Lab with our primary grade Science teacher, Mrs.
Armstrong! These Science lessons are wonderful for the Kindergartens for many reasons. She brings
lessons to enrich their Science background, and beginning next year, she will be their Science
teacher until fifth grade. It is a great opportunity for the children to get to know her and help them
transition to first grade!
On another note, we would like to send a gentle reminder that we would like to have all the
Kindergartners meet us at our classroom in the mornings on Monday and Friday so that we can walk
over to Assembly and Mass together as a class. This is beneficial as we settle into these both of events,
and also as we transition back to the classroom afterward and jump into our morning routine. Thank
you for your support!
This will be a relatively routine week in Kindergarten, below are a few highlights for the week:
Tuesday, May 21: $2 Tuesday
Wednesday, May 22: Jersey Mike’s
Monday, May 27: NO SCHOOL, MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVED
We look forward to a wonderful week!
God Bless,
Miss Cortney and Mrs. McOwen
