My child says they don't have any math homework tonight!

They may not be fooling you. Occasionally, I will not give homework the night before a test or the day 
they took a test in class. Also, there might be a time or two where they did so much math in class, that 
I will give them the night off.

How long time should be spent on homework each night?

Homework each night should take no more than an hour. If it is taking much longer than that, please let  
me know. I'm very flexible and willing to modify assignments.
