Week of April 27th, 2009
This week's happenings...
Brennah Berry is our VIP this week!
STAR test preparation is underway and homework has been modified with
additional test preparation. The class is learning about the rush for Gold in
1848! Students have started working on famous 49er group posters and will be
presenting them on Friday May 8th.
STAR testing is May 4th-8th. If you would like to volunteer to bring in a
healthy breakfast treat for the class, please email me and let me know:)
Field trip updates!
Sacramento field trip has been rescheduled for Friday, May 1st.
Drivers/Chaperones that were selected for the trip went home in Tuesday
folders. Students should arrive at school at 7:15 so we can get on the road
by 7:30.
Gold Camp departure is May 11th! Information on last minute things and
packing went home in Tuesday folders last week. Parents, please remember to
turn in your "secret items" to me ASAP!
Donors choose- We will be starting a philanthropy project with Mrs. Petrea's
class and Mrs. Sue Robinson's 3rd grade class. We will be growing and selling
plants to Bishop Ranch and using the money towards the organization
DonorsChoose.org. Check it out!
