Mrs. Cameo Carolan was born and raised in the Conejo Valley. After persuing
a professional dance career, she graduated with her bachelors degree from
California State University Chico. She also attained her masters degree in
Cross-Cultural Education in 2009. She loves sharing her passion for the arts
and physical fitness with her students at Newbury Park high school.
Outside of teaching at NPHS she is a master teacher for the United Spirit
Association and travels throughout the USA choreographing and judging dance
events. She was awared the 2007-2008 CADTD Dance Director of the Year.
She's also currently teaching at THRIVE dance center in Newbury Park, CA and
hopes to return back to school again in the near future to receive her second
masters in fine arts in dance and choreography performance.
