THIS WEEK IN KINDERGARTEN


This week we are studying letter Ll, leaves, number 14, addition and writing about our favorite part of a story. We began our unit on Reptiles and will be learning about building in Science. The children have been busy practicing for the Winter Program. Please have your child bring 10-15 fall leaves to school on Monday for an activity. THANK YOU to Callie, Makayla, Olivia, David, Zane and Chase for snacks!


WINTER PROGRAM


Thursday, December 10th at 6:00 p.m. is our Winter Program. Please mark your calendars! Students should arrive in class at 5:30 dressed in nice holiday attire. K – 2nd grade will perform at 6:00.
If you have children in 3rd – 5th grade they will perform at 7:00. During that intermission you will pick up your Kindergartener and take them with you to see their siblings perform.


HEALTHY LUNCH ORDERS ARE DUE ON DECEMBER 15TH!!!!!!


WINTER PROGRAM BAKE SALE


Today you will receive a blue flyer asking for donations for the Winter Performance Bake Sale. Your help is appreciated so there will be lots of goodies to serve during the intermission that evening.


SANTA’S WORKSHOP


Mr. Potter’s 5th grade will host our annual Santa’s Workshop on Wednesday, December 16th during school. No items will cost over $2, many gifts can be purchased for $2 to $3.


KINDERGARTEN GIFT EXCHANGE


Attached to this newsletter you will find a note with information about our gift exchange and the name of the friend your child drew from a hat today. Please send the wrapped gift to school prior to our Winter Party, by Thursday, December 17th.


WINTER PARTY


Friday, December 18th at 11:00 we will have our Winter Party. Gifts will be exchanged and we will have a craft and snack activities during the party. Please contact me if you would like to organize this party.


WINTER BREAK IS DECEMBER 21ST THROUGH JANUARY 4TH. SCHOOL RESUMES JANUARY 5TH, 2010!
