Hi! It is my honor and privilege yet again to be a member of the
dedicated NWDS staff. This will be my ninth year of teaching and my fourth
at NWDS. My wife is now in her 18th year of teaching; she loves her 4th
graders!
Together, the wife and I have two lovely & lively daughters, ages 12 and
8, who love music, dancing, school, the Jo-Bros, and their five cats.
I've been playing guitar for 34 years, and I love most kinds of music!
You'll almost always hear some in my classroom! Playing music with students,
Mr. Potter, and Mr. Lokteff was such a joy for me... I wish Mr. Lokteff the
best of luck going back to school in Utah! The Starving Teachers Band rocks
(sorta!)
Hanging out with my family, watching/playing/coaching soccer, traveling,
and dabbling in landscaping are my favorite things to do! Some of my favorite
places to visit are San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Disneyland!
The students here at NWDS are terrific! We have some of the nicest,
most respectful, and dedicated students ever! I look forward to doing
whatever I can in order to make the 2009-2010 school year the best it can be!
You get what you give! So be respectful to everyone and everything. Open
your mind. Work hard. Do your very best at all times. Come prepared to
learn... and have some fun!
