What happens if I turn in work late?

Your grade will be lowered 10 % for late assignments. (If you
were going to get an "A," you will now get a "B."

If I receive communication from a parent on the due date, via a note, email,

Whose job is it to turn in assignments that require parent signatures?

The student is responsible for getting any notes that need to be signed to
the parent, and then getting it back from the parent, and returning it to
me.

Using the excuse "My mom or dad didn't sign it" is NOT acceptable. If the
note cannot be signed, I need a note, email, or phone call from the parent
to that effect.
