Write a review of this book: tell the main idea
example: The Story of Walt Disney
A boy named Walter and his brother, Roy, grew up in Chicago until their
father decided to move everyone to a farm in Missouri. There they raised
animals and Walt's favorite was the pig. One day he saw that his father was
going to paint the barn and decided it wouldn't hurt to paint a picture on the
wall with the paint sitting there. What he didn't know as he painted away was
that the paint was really tar and intended for the roof not the barn walls!
Boy, did he get into trouble! His father was very strict and wouldn't allow
Walt any money to buy art supplies. He later delivered newspapers for two
routes, morning and afternoon, and even had a job during his lunch recess
sweeping the floor in a candy store near his elementary school! He still
wasn't allowed to keep any of his money for himself. He never let his
disappointments stop him from his art and later became a famous cartoon artist
and developed Disneyland.

I really liked this story because it is written about a real person and tells
about how hard his life was when he was younger. It gives lots of examples of
funny things that happened to him, too. I especially enjoyed the scene in the
hearse, when he pretended to be someone waking up when some ladies walked by.
He took the job of cleaning the hearse with his brother, Roy, so they could
have some money to go to the carnival. You should read this book to learn
how Disneyland was started and how hard Walt Disney had to work to do
something he really loved.
