About The Teacher
I am so excited to be teaching at Notre Dame School! The students are incredible. Thank you for entrusting them to my care each day. My background in brief: This is my eighth year teaching Junior High, and I really enjoy young adults at this age. They are exciting to teach, and I love watching them grow and change so dramatically. I have taught at St. Thomas More in Paradise until it closed 2 years ago. At STM I taught all of the subjects in JH except P.E. For the last two years I taught LA and Computers at Vista Middle School in Red Bluff. Prior to teaching I've worked in the computer industry for twenty-five years, including four years in the Air Force, working at a microcomputer manufacturing company, programming business application software, and running my own consulting business. I have a BS from USF, an MS from USC, and my teaching credential from Chico State. I am married to a wonderful accountant/controller, Michael, and we have a beautiful daughter, Kiaya, who is a senior at Mercy High School. We have 2 elderly miniature poodles, Perdie and Ariel.
