I grew up in New Jersey and received my teaching credential from Dominican
College in Blauvelt, New York. I have had many teaching experiences
throughout my 20 plus years as an educator. I have taught third grade, fifth
grade and junior high math and social studies. I have taught physical
education here at Notre Dame for the last ten years. I realized that
teaching kids how to take care of themselves physically, as well as
spiritually and intellectually, should be an important component of the
quality education we offer at Notre Dame. Professionally, the opportunity to
provide a comprehensive physical education program for young children has
been a very rewarding experience.
