When is share?
Sharing will begin September 4. Sharing is done every Friday. The children are grouped into two groups so that they will share every other Friday. Your child will either share every 1&3 Friday or every 2&4 Friday. Special shares for live animals should be arranged with me ahead of time. Back to Top

May I bring birthday treats for my child's birthday?
Yes! If they can be brought in the morning then we will try to pass them out at morning recess (10:20). If for some reason that is not possible (Sometimes we have two birthdays on the same day!) then we will pass the treat out after lunch. We have twenty three students this year and at times treats get dropped so PLEASE ALWAYS MAKE EXTRAS!Back to Top

May I volunteer in the classroom?
Yes! You need to be fingerprinted before working with the children. The forms are in the office and you may then make an appointment with the police department, or college police department. Bring the form back to Connie to be sent down to the Sacramento Diocese for clearance. The cost is $35.00 but once you are fingerprinted it is good for as long as your child is here at Notre Dame School! The diocese also asks that you complete an on-line program as well prior to working with children. The program is found at www.shieldthevulnerable.com and can be taken at your convenience at home. The course takes about 60-90 minutes and does not all have to be done in one sitting. Once you have finished you can print out your certificate and bring it in to show me. We will also need help with technology on Wednesdays 11:00-12:00. If this works for you please let Vicki know! Vicki Sands has volunteered to provide an art program for Addie's class this year once a month so if you would kindly volunteer to be of help to her I know it would be appreciated! Just let her know. Volunteers for language arts are on Monday 9:00-10:30 and Wednesdays 9:00-10:30 beginning in October. Volunteers for math (Compucat- our individualized math program) are Monday and Friday 11:15-12:00. If you are interested in helping with any of these areas just jot a note to me and send it in.
