Step 2: Begin your research for the role you have been assigned. Go to
the appropriate role page for specific directions and links.

Step 3: Create a summary or top ten list of key considerations related to
your topic.
Step 4: Schedule a meeting of the expert group to share summaries
and discuss possible proposals.
Step 5: Draft a proposal for Global Water Quality Control.
Be sure to include support based on your expert research. Include
points which may be brought up by UN members with opposing views.
Defend your position!
Step 6: Create a PowerPoint slideshow to present your proposal before
the UN council. Obtain a copy of the Powerpoint guidelines.
Step 7: Complete a Post-Activity Assessment. Remember to pick this up on the
day of your presentation.
